BASIC STORYTELLING WORKSHOP:
An OPTIONAL 60- to 90-minute Basic Storytelling Workshop available for up to 40 students who would
most benefit from and enjoy the experience.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT:
An
OPTIONAL 60- to 90-minute Staff Development Workshop is available for after school called: HOW TO USE STORYTELLING TO ENHANCE
CURRICULUM

Bonus: The Greedy Spider Program has speaking parts for 54 kids instead of just 48.
1-DAY ASSEMBLY:
54 Kids take part in a STORIES OUT OF A TRUNK Playlet Audition & Rehearsal. They perform for Parents,
School, & the Press that afternoon. Debbie acts as Narrator & Director. Costumes Provided.

Little Milligan Elem., Greedy Spider STORIES OUT OF A TRUNK Program performed on 5-1-2009
A DAY DEVOTED TO STORYTELLING:
- 8:30-9:00: Storytelling Performance
for Gr. K-3
- 9:15-9:45:
Storytelling Performance for Gr. 4-6
- 10:00-11:45: Stories Out Of A Trunk Audition & Rehearsal. Train up to 48 kids to perform
a Storytelling Playlet for entire school.
- 11:45-12:30: Lunch Break
- 12:30-1:15: 48 Kids perform Storytelling Playlet for Grades K-3, Parents, & Press. Debbie
Dunn will tell a solo story as well.
- 1:30-2:15: 48 Kids perform same Storytelling Playlet for Grades 4-6, Parents, & Press. Debbie
Dunn will tell solo story as well.
- 60 to 90 minutes after school: Staff Development Workshop for Teachers
LEARNING CD:
Debbie’s
Storytelling Programs fulfill many Tennessee Curriculum Standards in the areas of Reading, Writing, Health, School Counseling,
& Theatre. Each school will receive a follow-up Learning CD filled with:
- Correlated Curriculum Standards
- Bloom’s Taxonomy Discussion Questions
- Story Prompt Suggestions & More
